Drew Waters returns with a bang in first game back with Gwinnett (scores & stats only)

Between a big project at work and my daughter’s softball game, there was just no way I could put out a full recap this morning, so it’s just scores and stats today.

Here’s a look at Tuesday’s action down on the Braves farm…

AAA – Gwinnett Stripers (12-13)

W, 11-7 vs. Charlotte

(P) Touki Toussaint – 4 2/3 IP, 10 H, 7 ER, BB, 8 K, 2 HR

(OF) Drew Waters – 4 for 4, HR, 2 RBI, 2 R

(C) Chadwick Tromp – 2 for 3, 2 HR, 4 RBI, 3 R, BB

(3B) Phil Gosselin – 2 for 4, 2B

(2B) Pat Valaika – 2 for 5, 2 RBI, R

Waters wasted no time making an impact on Tuesday. On the very first pitch in the bottom-half of the first, the outfielder put one over the left-center wall for a solo home run. Welcome back my man.
